We have two different cold cleaning solvents available for use for our solvent based parts washers. First, the general purpose cold cleaning solvent- HI-T DEGREASOL: a special formulation of petroleum distillates, surfactants, cleaning and wetting agents that provides top performance. Needs no rinsing, and leaves no residue. Conforms to California's Rule 66 for clean air. Safe for use on plastics, babbit, solder and painted surfaces. Won't discolor, pit or corrode bronze, brass,aluminum or steel. Doesn't break down when used with our dual filtration system., so is very economical. Next, the nonhazardous cold cleaning solvent - DEGREASOL 99R: now you don't have to sacrifice cleaning performance to avoid hazardous waste problems. With a high 141oF flashpoint  it contains no ingredients or characteristics listed as hazardous by the EPA's RCRA Act. DEGREASOL 99R is blended of sulphur-free hydrocarbons, wetting agents, and detergents. Needs no rinsing and leaves no residue. Conforms to California's Rule 66 also. Doesn't break down, so can be used indefinitely.
