All machined steel tooling is heat treated for greater service life.
Who has time to waste? Especially when you have a car in the air and others lined up. When Bend-Pak first came up with the idea of twist lock tooling and quick change bending dies, others said it wouldn't work. Well it did, and it still does. In fact, it works so well that others copied it. Imitation really is the best form of flattery!
Bend-Pak's advanced programmable mini-computer (available on model 1302-BA is safely enclosed within the front upright of the bender and allows you to make virtually every original equipment exhaust system effortlessly. The program data control board controls all bending functions, both automatic or manual, and stors up to 99 different bend depths.
Available on models 1302-BAS. An automatic control board which is safely enclosed within the front upright of the bender and is located up front for operator convenience. The green button is used for full automatic bending functions. The blue button is for initiating an automatic return sequence and the red button is for automatic stop. The depth-of-bend plate is equipped with an adjustable slide pointer that can be pre-set to stop at any bend depth.
All Bend-Pak tubing benders are equipped with their exclusive clampless swager which puts out an incredible force of over 30,000 lbs. for quick and precise end forming. All tooling is quick release. The narrow hinged collars simply drop into position and allow you to flare tubing ends as close as 3" from a bend. Don't worry about the clamps slipping either. The more pressure you put on the clamps the tighter they grip.
Bend-Pak's internal segment expander is just as unique as their clampless swager and can be used for both ID and OD expansion slip fits, flares, ball joints and manifold flanges. Their buttress canister has a single position setting for all ID expansions but can also be adjusted for special sizing requirements. A single arbor is used for all tubing sizes from 1 1/2" to 3".
Bend-Pak's automatic models (1302-BA and 1302 BAS) are equipped with remote foot switches for added operator convenience.
Bend-Pak's models 1302 and Blue Bullet are equipped with a double-ended cylinder for both the clampless swager and segment expander. A single control handle operates the cylinder and is placed toward the middle so you can stand comfortably in one location and operate both sides.
