These advanced, state-of-the-art XP-Series models are rugged 10,000-pound capacity clearfloor lifts that feature a “Dual-Synchro” overhead equalization system and user-friendly controls. Dual direct-drive low-pressure cylinders are used that minimize leakage and reduce the workload placed on the entire hydraulic system, an exclusive BendPak design feature saving you maintenance costs throughout the life of the lift. Clearfloor Convenience – Our clearfloor models provide unobstructed floor space allowing technicians to easily move toolboxes, transmission jacks, oil drains and other equipment underneath the elevated vehicle.

Dual Direct-Drive Technology - By utilizing two low-pressure “Direct-Drive” cylinders, we’ve eliminated the need for lifting chains or screw mechanisms most commonly found on other lift designs. On-The-Level - Our “Dual-Synchro” equalization system maintains equal lifting and provides operators with a stable, level-vehicle working condition.
Industrial-Grade Hydraulic Cylinders – Integrated into every XP-Series hydraulic cylinder is a one-piece, pilot fitted, machined steel piston wrapped with specially designed, pressure loaded U-cup piston seals, backups and wear bands that virtually eliminates any fluid bypass. The micro-smooth chrome-rod is machined from high yield, ground & polished C-1045/50 micro-alloy steel and plated to a minimum of .001? diametrically, to ensure superior cylinder operation and life. Specially designed, high durometer, mechanically loaded rod seals virtually eliminate rod seal leakage and a specially formulated abrasion resistant urethane rod wiper provides exclusion protection. The welded cylinder body is made from high yield-strength steel tubing produced to exceed ASTM specifications. This combination of superb base material and superior processing ensures straight, smooth and long duty life cylinders. An integrated flow restrictor provides a controlled descent in the case of an unexpected hose rupture.
Lowered Arm Tube Supports – To minimize the chance of damaging vehicles with low hanging vehicle doors, we completely redesigned our arm tube supports to allow for better clearance.
Automatic Arm Restraints – Each arm is equipped with durable arm restraints that automatically engage each time the lift is raised. When the lift is lowered, the gear type arm restraints automatically disengage to provide easy positioning of the lift arms.
Taller Lift Carriages – Take a close look at our lift carriages (the lifting assembly that the arms are attached to) then take a look at the competition. You’ll notice our 53” tall carriages are considerably taller than most which minimizes the stress placed on the load bearings and columns
High-Speed Hydraulics - Free-flow, high-pressure 3/8” hydraulic lines and a high-flow pump and integrated AC power-unit increase ascent and descent speed rates for increased productivity.
Durable Powder Coat Finish – All XP-Series lifts feature a durable powder coat finish that gives the metal a high-quality, extremely durable finish which can withstand even the harshest environmental or chemical conditions. Unlike other companies that claim to powder coat, we take pride in our meticulous 10-step process. First, all parts are visually inspected then sandblasted. After, the parts are washed in our five-stage phosphate tanks that can accommodate parts up to 25’ long. Once cleaned, they’re immediately dried, to avoid rust production then outgassed. Outgassing is a process we take pride in which pre-bakes the parts in a curing oven, reducing the possibility of blemishes that may be hiding in the pores of the metal. If not properly outgassed, imperfections in the metal may bubble during the curing process and most likely cause chips in the powder. After the parts are washed and outgassed, any surfaces and/or threaded holes that need to be masked or plugged are done so with high-temperature masking tape and silicone plugs. Next, the parts are given a quick thinner wipe to remove any light debris or fingerprints then hung on an electrostatically grounded conveyor line. The powder is then applied using an electrostatic spray gun. The powder “sticks” to the parts similar to how dust sticks to a television screen. Once the parts are powder coated, the carts are rolled into our curing oven and baked at 400 degrees for 15 for 45 minutes.
Free Truck and Van Adapters – Others charge extra for these necessary adapters but they’re standard with every XP-Series lift. Ideal for trucks and vans with running boards or auxiliary fuel tanks.
Auto Shut-Off – A rigid, padded safety shut-off bar automatically stops the lift should a vehicle come in contact with overhead structure.
Detailed Safety Instruction – Included with every lift are detailed installation and maintenance instructions, graphic safety and maintenance decals, and a vehicle lifting point guide and safety instruction placard that helps train personnel on proper safety and maintenance guidelines.

Here are five questions you must consider before buying that bargain-lift!
What is the lift's quality? This is the most important consideration when purchasing a lift, or any product for that matter. How thick is the steel used to produce the columns? What is the quality of the steel used in the manufacturing process? Bend-Pak's lifts are manufactured with 7 gauge ASTM steel - only the best. Are the posts manufactured of single-piece construction? If they're not, you're sacrificing strength. Bend-Pak's baseplates are an extra thick A36 steel plate. This lessens the stress on your floor as well as the bottoms of the posts. The result? - you guessed it. A safer lift! Are the welds quality welds, or are they inferior spot welds? What about the other components? If they are of questionable origin, you may not notice within the first year or two, but you will shortly after the warranty expires!
What about the cylinders? Bend-Pak uses two "direct drive" cylinders to directly lift the carriages. Many bargain lift manufacturers use only a single cylinder to save money. Others use two cylinders, but still use them in conjunction with a system of pulleys and cables. Bend-Pak's dual direct drive cylinders eliminate the need for cables, chains, pulleys and screw mechanisms commonly found on those bargain lifts. Those systems typically wear very early, and require continuous monitoring and mainenance. Bend-Pak's "direct drive" technology offers better reliability and smoother operation. And because they work under lower pressure, they last much longer. That bargain lift isn't saving you as much money as you first thought - is it?
Does the manufacurer sacrifice safety to save money? This is unacceptable to Bend-Pak, and it should be to anyone who works under a lift! Does that bargain lift have mechanical safety locks that automatically engage up and down both posts? Bend-Pak's safeties are every three inches. Bend-Pak lifts incorporate redundant safety features to ensure your safety. Does the lift comply with ETL and ALI standards? No one should even consider a lift that doesn't! Only a handfull of manufacturers do, and of those that do, Bend-Pak is among the most affordable. Not sure if the other manufacturer is an ALI, (Automotive Lift Institute) certified manufacturer? If they don't mention that they are - they most likely aren't. But if you want to check on ALI's website to see for yourself, CLICK HERE. Beware manufacturers that claim they are approved and tested by anybody but ALI. ALI is the industry standard and the recognized industry watchdog. ALI and ETL approved lifts must conform with the most strict international safety and quality standards.
How much money is that bargain lift really saving you? Short term, it might save you a couple of hundred dollars, but when you factor in the down-time and the added maintenance of lubricating and constant monitoring of their slider blocks and cables. Then add the time wasted on unnecessary proceedures such as manually locking and releasing the arms every time the arms are positioned or lowered. Shortly, you will begin to realize the lifetime of savings a quality lift like Bend-Pak will bring you. Furthermore, Bend-Pak offers on-site service if necessary. The bargain lift manufacturers that we know of don't offer on-site service. Plus, we've found that parts availability is an issue with the bargain lifts. Sure, they may have parts now, while this particular lift is still in production, but what about when they discontinue this model? Will parts still be available years later? Usually not.
Remember, TIME=MONEY! If your technician is doing anything other than servicing a customer's vehicle, you're losing money!

Bend-Pak Inc. lifts are warranted for five years on equipment structure, to be free of defects in material and workmanship. Bend-Pak Inc. will repair or replace at their option for the warranty period those parts returned to the factory freight prepaid which prove upon inspection to be defective. Bend-Pak will pay labor costs for the first 12 months only on parts returned as described previously. This warranty does not extend to defects caused by ordinary wear, abuse, misuse, overloading, shipping damage, concrete floor problems, improper installation, or lack of required maintenance.

They also have a manual that instructs user where proper jacking points are on most vehicles.
Extra care must be taken when placing heavy vehicles and extra long wheelbase vehicles on a two post lift. Particularly on asymmetric lifts. Weight distribution and Balance is vital on two post lifts. Arm restraints are for the purpose of holding the arm in place until it makes contact with the vehicle. They are not intended to be relied upon to hold an improperly positioned vehicle in place.
