The Atlas PV-12PX is a commercial grade lift designed to accommodate long wheel base trucks and passenger cars. The low pad height on the PV-12PX allows the operator to lift both cars and trucks. The extra distance between the columns accommodates wider vehicles or vehicles with wide rearview mirrors. The increased length of the symmetrical arms coupled with the additional height of the included peg style truck adapter set allows the operator to safely raise long wheel base trucks with a variety of running boards. The extra height means extra clearance allowing you to lift vans and box trucks without worry.

The Atlas ATEXH-PV12PX features three height settings, the lowest setting of 150 inches or 12 foot 6 inches requires the purchase of optional short cables.

The Atlas PV-12PX has single point release, set of truck adapters, overhead above ground lift configuration, and symmetric arms.

The Atlas PV-12PX incorporates a padded shut-off bar to protect the top of the vehicle from contacting the crossbar. The carriages are equipped with "padded" protective (thick rubber) covers to help prevent the vehicle's doors from damage if opened into the columns or carriages.

The truck adapter set has been augmented (12 pieces vs. 8 pieces) and the rubber lift pad has been reinforced to ensure a solid contact with the vehicle's lifting point.

Single Point Lock Release
This Atlas Lift has a manual single point lock release that allows the operator to release all the safety locks at one time. The spring loaded lock handle and power unit dump valve must be activated at the same time. (two hand operation) If the lock handle is released and the dump valve handle is still being pressed, the lift will continue to descend and all locks will automatically re-engage at the next lower lock point.

Automatic Arm Restraints
These are needed to keep the arm "locked" into a position relative to the carriage. When the arms are at rest in the lowest position, the arm restraint pin (which extends below the carriage) is pressed up and the lock (teeth) mechanism is disengaged. The operator can then move the arms so that the lift pads can be properly positioned under the vehicle’s lift points. Once the carriage is raised (approximately 2 inches) the lock is reengaged and the arms cannot be moved. However, the operator may pull the knob or metal ring to manually unlock the arms. Lock restraints do not guarantee that a vehicle cannot be "moved" off of the lift pads. Operator should use care when working on vehicles that have an abundant amount of undercoating (lift pads may "slide") or a significant weight imbalance of the vehicle may occur due to removal of an engine or transmission. Also, "HEAVY wrenching" may result in a vehicle shifting weight on the arm pads. We recommend the use of tall jack stands under the vehicle to add another layer of safety.

Overhead Configuration
The overhead bar configuration leaves the floor area between the columns open, and allows the operator to easily roll a transmission jack or a tool box under the car. The Automatic Padded Shut-Off Bar located below the cross beam prevents the top of the vehicle from being damaged by hitting the cross beam. The padded bar, which contacted automatically shuts off the motor on the power unit to prevent the vehicle from being lifted.

Symmetric Arm Design
This lift includes a symmetric column configuration to offer the widest possible Drive Thru. This base-plate above ground lift has symmetric arms to allow easy access to both sides of the vehicle.

12 Piece Truck Adapter
This lift comes standard with a twelve piece truck adapter set. The twelve piece truck adapter set offers many more lift height combinations than standard two piece truck adapter sets.

CE Tested and ApprovedCE Tested And Approved
The letters 'CE' appear on many products that are traded in the European Economic Area (EEA). There are 27 member states of the EU and European Free Trade Association. The CE marking attests the verification by a manufacturer that products meet EU safety requirements. It is the manufacturer’s responsibility to carry out the conformity assessment. Conformity assessment testing was performed by CCQS UK Ltd. www.ccqs.co.uk

This Atlas lift (structure and hydraulics) has been tested and has passed the CE conformity requirements. Atlas lifts sold in the USA and Canada use a different power unit than those required by CE. CE requires an electrical control box (with solenoids) that actuates the hydraulic power unit.

Electric power units supplied with above ground lifts in the USA and Canada do not require the electronic control box; therefore the power unit was not tested to CE approval requirements. If you have questions relating to the power unit supplied with your lift, please discuss these with your salesman.

If you are customer from the EU or other foreign county that requires CE approval, please contact our sales office to see how we can help.

Electrical Requirements
The electric motor for the power unit requires 220 Volt (single phase) 60 Hz (+/- 5%, so 209-231 volts). We recommend using at least a 10 gauge (grounded) wire from the electrical panel. The power unit may or may not have a short pigtail (no plug) that can be wired to either an optional quick disconnect box (mounted on the lift column) or to a male/female plug combination. A 30 amp breaker is required.

Overhead Configuration
The overhead bar configuration leaves the floor area between the columns open, and allows the operator to easily roll a transmission jack or a tool box under the car. The padded shut-off bar located below the cross beam prevents the top of the vehicle from being damaged by hitting the cross beam. The padded bar, which contacted automatically shuts off the motor on the power unit to prevent the vehicle from being lifted.
