Social media is a huge marketing tool for any business these days. If you don’t have a presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other forms of social media, you’re missing out on a potential audience. ASEDeals does have a presence on the above mentioned sources, however we never had a listing on Google Plus, formerly know as Google Places.
Well, now we do. Google plus is the counterpart to Facebook. It has similar features and operates in much the same way. When google saw how popular Facebook became, and how rapidly it grew, they realized the potential there.
Merchants as well as individuals can post a listing there, showing their likes and dislikes, and promoting what’s going on with their day-to-day activities. Followers can learn about their favorite companies, new products, promotions and sales. It’s a win / win situation for everybody.
Automotive Service Equipment jumped on the bandwagon this week by listing a Google Plus page. You can check it out at the following link:
Go ahead and visit us there, and become a follower. You’ll find some interesting posts, as well as customer pictures and testimonials there. That’s our favorite. We love getting feedback from our customers.

Waterloo is the largest name in tool boxes, tool cabinets, and tool carts. We have been carrying their products for over 15 years, and they have been around for over 80 years. Their equipment is known all over the world as the best in the industry.
So when they decided to come out with their new Professional Series tool boxes, the automotive equipment industry stood up and took notice. It isnt everyday that such a major manufacturer comes out with a new product line.
This new line of tool cabinets and boxes is a top-of-the-line series that includes all of the features that a serious pro demands, including ball bearing drawer slides, gas struts on select models, heavy duty frame with a beefy 1200 lb. load capacity and a substantial 75 lb. capacity per drawer. Oh, and let’s not forget the generous 7 year warranty. Their side wall post construction makes for a much more stout cabinet than your typical box out there. Plus, they’re equipped with the Waterloo “Posi-Latch” drawer system that allows the drawers to stay shut and secure even while you’re rolling it around. These guys have thought of it all.
Don’t get an inferior substitute that will last only a few years. Get a box that was made to last.
In case you’re new to this blog, we have been having a drawing each month recently that awards a free hand-held jump starter to a lucky customer who submits a picture or two of their new car lift, tire changer or air compressor to us. The rules are pretty simple; just submit a picture, and you are entered. Then, we have a random drawing that chooses the winner.
Our favorite pictures are those that show our customer’s home garages with their brand new auto lift along with their favorite vehicle perched up on top. Very cool stuff. There are lots of nice garages and “man-caves” out there.
This month’s winner of our monthly drawing is Walt Reid from Branson, MO. Here is what he said –
“The BendPak Lift is working great! I have been working on my friends’ 1961 Austin Healey “Bugeye” Sprite vintage racer. The car is so narrow, the arms were almost too short! But it fit. I will send you a photo of my 66 Jaguar E-type when I get that up in the air. Today I put a friends 7,000 lb Dodge Ram 2500 dual cab on the lift to help him change shocks. No problem! It didn’t even sound like it was straining. I was at a buddys shop last week; his (Other brand) lift looked like a wimp compared to the BendPak. The cylinders on the the outside of the columns; the arms looked thinner and smaller; he has to pull a release cable
on each side to unlock the latch, etc. Thanks for helping with a great decision.”
