New ASEDeals Bahamas Connection

January 13th, 2013

While our customer base is mainly here in the good old USA, we also sell lifts and automotive service equipment to auto shops, home hobbyists, gear heads and weekend warriors all over the world. One location that we enjoy selling to is the beautiful islands of the Bahamas. Actually, the Bahamas were where Columbus first landed in 1492. There are actually more than 3000 islands that make up the Bahamas, but the most densly populated is the island of New Providence. This island features the capitol city of Nassau. Nassau has been a huge tourist attraction for many years.

This week’s customer is German Auto Works from the city of Nassau in the Bahamas. We had the opportunity to visit with them recently. They just opened a brand new auto shop that specializes in European automobiles.

Two Post Lifts - German Auto Service

They actually purchased several BendPak Lifts from us. They bought an XPR9 floorplate two post lift, and an XPR10A clearfloor two post lift. The clearfloor model is an asymmetric lift. The asymmetric style of lifts allows you to get your door opened wider after you have parked the car in between the posts. Most technicians prefer this style of lift these days. The added benefit of the BendPak design is that it can also position the auto symmetric as well. This lift is truly the best of both worlds, and is yet another example of why BendPak is the premier name in car lifts. The XPR9 is a floorplate model, meaning  that it will fit under shorter ceiling heights.. No matter what you need, BendPak and have got you covered. If you have the opportunity to visit Nassau, Bahamas, we highly recommend it.

Speed Week In Nassau Bahamas Was A Blast

December 8th, 2012

We had the opportunity to attend the Annual Speed Week in the Bahamas last week. This is a very popular race with classic cars that were in vogue back in the Le Mans and Sebring days. It took place November 24 through December 2nd and it did not disappoint.  These classic cars looked very cool racing through the streets of the capital in Nassau, New Providence.

To qualify to race, the automobiles had to be classic road cars from 1954 to 1980 and had to be in good, race-worthy condition. Vehicles included Astin Martins, Ferraris, Jaguars, Maserati and even a DeLorean. Participants came in from all over the globe, but particularly USA, England, and some local autos as well. Former guests from 2011 included Sir Stirling Moss and Sir Sean Connery.

It was extremely fun watching these glamorous vehicles racing down the narrow, winding streets of beautiful Nassau, Bahamas. If you get the opportunity to attend next year, you are certain to enjoy the hospitality and tropical scenery that makes the Bahamas so popular for travelers.

New Bahamas Connection

January 15th, 2012

We’ve shown you our various customer locations from all over globe in previous posts. But one location that we seem to get a lot of customers is the beautiful islands of the Bahamas. We’ve sold auto lifts and other products to many customers from the many islands of the Bahamas, such as Freeport, but the most popular destination is the island of Nassau. We’ve sold many products to many customers there. It is a fantastic destination with many attractions and a healthy economy. We recommend checking in at Paradise Island Resort.
If you are a citizen in Nassau, then stop by Muffler World, owned by Mike Pinder. He purchased a BendPak exhaust tube bender from us several years ago for one of his two locations on Nassau on Mackey st, and he just recently purchased another for his other location on Robinson Rd. He’s been in business for many years and has a strong following on the island. We were lucky enough to get a chance to say hello to him recently. His shop has numerous bays all decked out with the latest equipment. We recommend you check him out if you’re on the island.
BendPak is one of the biggest names in the exhaust tuber bender industry. You might be more familiar with their lifts, but they started out making benders as their name implies.
