Please Help Build Homes For Our Troops

December 25th, 2012

Most people have a pet charity that they favor. You know, a charity that is your preferred cause that you place more importance on above all others. Well, we here at ASEDeals are no different. If you have followed us over the past 16 years, you would know that over the past 10 years or so, we have latched on to Homes For Our Troops.

Homes For Our Troops is near and dear to our hearts because they construct specially adapted houses for disabled American veterans coming home from Afghanistan and Iraq. Plus, it is rated as a four star charity from Charity Navigator. They rate charities based on various factors, such as what percentage of their funding goes toward the actual cause vs how much goes toward administrative and marketing causes.

We always ask our customers, readers and followers on Facebook and Linkdin to consider this very worthy cause when deciding on where to donate some funds that they may have available for charitable purposes. Home For Our Troops just recently completed seven new houses this month (December, 2012).

Give To Home For Our Troops – A Worthy Cause

December 24th, 2011

No auto lifts in this post. This is the time of year for giving. And anybody who’s followed us for the past few years knows that our pet cause is the very worthy charity called Homes For Our Troops. We have been supporting them for over 5 years now. What better way to show your appreciation for our wounded veterans who make selfless sacrifices out on the combat theatre every year?
This charity fabricates specially adapted homes for soldiers who have returned from Iraq and Afghanistan with debilitating injuries. Homes that will cater to their specific injury so that they can lead as normal a life as possible.
So far, they have built over 100 homes and their ambition has only increased. They plan on building hundreds more with the help of good Americans like yourself.
Now we don’t just choose any charity to support without investigating it thoroughly. These guys are rated highly by all the charity rating services with very high ranks when it comes to the percentage of funds it forwards to the actual cause vs fundraising and administration.
Every holiday season, we ask you, our followers to make a small donation to this cause because it’s the right thing to do, and the right time of year to do it. Please give generously and may God bless you during this Christmas season.

911 Anniversary A Time To Reflect And To Give

September 11th, 2011

The events of 9/11/01  still are prominent in the memories of all Americans who witnessed what transpired that horrific day.  Those events led to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Those wars led to many veterans obtaining debilitating injuries that required much rehab along with a permanent change in their way of life.
That inspired founder John Gonsalves to create a fantastic charity that still thrives today – Homes For Our Troops. This top notch charity helps create specially adapted homes made specifically to meet the needs of individual veterans who need these modifications to allow them to be self sufficient.
We quickly jumped on board early in supporting them. We felt it was about as worthy a cause that there could be.
At this historic anniversary, what better time could there be to make a pledge to help support these wounded veterans and say thank you in the best way possible. We hope you’ll give generously.

April 24th, 2011

What better time of year than the Easter holiday to donate to Homes For Our Troops? We’ve told you about this very worthy charity before. And we’re going to continue to tell people about it for as long as there’s a need for it. We’ve been supporting them for many years now because the cause is right and they are one of the best rated charities by the major rating agencies. Charity Navigator gives Homes For Our Troops a Four Star rating.
Homes For Our Troops builds specially adapted homes for our disabled veterans coming home with severe injuries. They’ve just finished making their 100th home, and their next goal is 200. With your help, we hope to help them reach that goal in half the time it took them to get to their first 100.
Many of our customers make a comfortable living, and are able to afford to put an Automotive Lift in their home garage. If you can afford to purchase this type of equipment to store all your extra cars then you certainly have a few extra dollars for such a worthy cause like Homes For Our Troops. Please find it in your heart to make a small donation.

Much To Be Thankful For

November 24th, 2010

In these tough economic times, It can sometimes be difficult to look through all the negative news you hear on the TV each evening. The unemployment rate has remained over 9% the entire year. Many car dealerships have closed down due to the auto manufacturers consolidating. They’ve closed up shop and sold off all of their Automotive Lifts and tire changers. The housing market still shows no signs of life.
But however bleak things may seem, Americans are optimists at heart. We’ve gone through worse before. And every time we’ve come through stronger than before.
We have plenty to be thankful for. So we ask this simple request of you.
After your belly is full of turkey this Thanksgiving day, and you’re done visiting with your family and friends, take a moment to thank someone who helped make it all possible.
Please consider sharing your blessings with someone who has made great sacrifices for their country. We’ve been supporting Homes For Our Troops for many years now, and we ask you to do the same. Homes for our Troops is a very worthy charity that builds specially adapted homes for disabled veterans returning from duty. They are one of the best ranked charities when it comes to dollars going directly to the cause. Just click on the link below to see what they are all about and perhaps make a donation.
We can’t think of a better way to give thanks.

Veterans Day Request – Homes For Our Troops

November 11th, 2010

World War I ended officially on June 28, 1919. But actually, the fighting stopped seven months earlier. An armistice went into effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. Armistice Day eventually evolved into Veterans Day in 1954.
There is a reason we chose the American Flag as the theme to our web site.
Even though the American flag theme may not have much to do with Car Lifts. Our love of country and all it stands for is cherished greatly.
Let’s honor of  all vets from every branch of the military today.
We have a special place in our hearts for veterans. The sacrifices they have made over the past 200 plus years has not been forgotten. We ask for everybody to say a prayer and thank a veteran today.
In Honor of our Veterans, we ask that you consider giving to a worthy cause.
Homes for our Troops is a very worthy charity that we have been donating to for many years. They fabricate specially adapted homes for permanently disabled veterans. They are one of the most highly rated charities by various charity rating groups. Only about 8% of donations go into fundraising. The rest goes directly to the veterans homes. please find it in your heart to give whatever you can. No donation is too small. God Bless.
