Then, just lower the runways down onto the casters and next thing you know, the weight transfers off of the base plates at the bottom of each column and onto the caster wheels. Now you're ready to roll. Just push the lift where you want it. It will roll fairly effortlessly with one full size individual pushing it, as long as your floor is fairly level with no major cracks. This can be very convenient for folks who may want to move the lift from one bay in the garage to the other, or even outside if the lift will fit through the garage doors.
