Clear Floor Lifts (Overhead)
These models feature equalizer cables and hydraulic lines routed overhead, leaving the garage floor completely free of obstructions so you can roll toolboxes and oil drains smoothly underneath.
Asymmetric Lifts:
Designed with angled posts and unequal arm lengths, allowing you to position the vehicle so the doors can open widely without hitting the columns - ideal for interior passenger car work.
Floor Plate Lifts (Low Ceiling)
Engineered specifically for shops or home garages with lower ceilings (typically around 9 feet). The lines run along the floor under a shallow metal threshold plate.
What To Consider Before Buying
Ceiling Height: Ensure you measure your exact clearance. An overhead clear-floor lift often requires 12'+ of room, whereas floor-plate models keep the post height under 10 feet.
Concrete Requirements: Most standard 9,000 lbs. and 10,000 lbs. Eagle lifts require a minimum of 4" to 4.25" of 3,000 PSI concrete to safely bolt down the anchors.
