Atlas KWIK-BAY Open Center Portable Mid-Rise Scissor Lift
7,000 lbs. Capacity Commercial Grade

The Atlas Kwik Bay is a free standing 7,000 lb. capacity portable scissor lift. The Atlas Kwik Bay is the perfect lift for Commercial Quick Service Bays, body shops, and wheel service specialists that need extra lifting height. This portable lift easily raises a 7,000 lbs. car, truck or SUV to a comfortable working height and does not require the operator to position arms under the lifting points of the car. The vehicle is driven over the scissor ramps and the operator simply positions the heavy duty rubber block assemblies under the correct lifting points. The operation is very quick and the chance for any damage to the underside of the car is minimal. Open center allows easy under-car access.

The unique open middle of the Atlas Kwik Bay allows access to many areas on the underside of the car that are not easily accessible with other portable mid-rise lifts employing a full superstructure.

The approach ramps lock into a horizontal position to extend the runway platform length by an additional 10-1/4" on each end (effective lifting surface is expanded from 57-1/2" to 78").

The dual power cylinders and the solid safety lock bars make the Atlas Kwik Bay one of the most versatile and easy to use scissor mid-rise lifts sold in the USA and Canada.

As with any scissor lift that is completely open (no cross support bar in the front or rear to keep the platforms level), the operator must make sure that the vehicle’s frame is positioned at least 6 inches from the inside of the platform. If too much weight is positioned near the edges of the platform (closer than 6 inches from the inside edges), the platforms may become "pigeon toed" and damage may occur.

We sell Atlas Scissor Lift Support Bars for those "professional customers" who are lifting heavy vehicles with narrow frames. Some "shade tree mechanics" may also use 4 x 4 landscape timbers (in place of Atlas support bars) to obtain the same results of dispersing the narrow frame weight over the entire platform lifting surface.

Each hinge point has a zerk grease fitting to allow maximum lubrication to each joint.

Our Atlas Kwik Bay has been thoroughly tested to meet Industry standards. The Atlas Kwik Bay scissor mid-rise lift is powered by a 120 volt power unit that is mounted on a movable cart. The power unit can be remotely located near the lift for maximum efficiency. This cart is also used to move the Atlas Kwik Bay on a smooth surface. The lift can be rolled to and from an inside work bay to an outside concrete apron work area.

This motor must be connected to a 120 Volt system (30 amp) service. If the motor is operated on less than a 120 Volt power supply (120 volts at the motor), the lift will not be able to raise its rated capacity and damage may occur to the motor. Extension cords are not recommended.

There are several methods available to increase your delivered voltage and amperage if your current electrical system is not adequate. Please contact a qualified electrician to discuss these options.

The portable power unit console includes a (off/on) power switch, power indicator light, and three (3) control buttons. (up, down, and safety lock). Up button raises the lift. Lock button lowers the lift into a locked position. Lowering button (when depressed) raises the lift off locked position; then actuates lift lock bar movement (off locks) and then allows lift to lower to the ground.

The Atlas Kwik Bay is the ultimate scissor mid-rise lift that includes one set (4) of positioning blocks.

The best way to position any vehicle on a scissor lift (with horizontal cylinders) is to allow some space (2-6 inches) between the lifting surface of the lift and vehicle’s lifting points. Click here to read more.

The large "foot print" of the Atlas Kwik Bay creates a steady platform for any raised vehicle. The Atlas Kwik Bay has a lifting height of over 39" and remains rock solid at all safety lock positions.

CE Tested and Approved CE Tested And Approved
The letters 'CE' appear on many products that are traded in the European Economic Area (EEA). There are 27 member states of the EU and European Free Trade Association. The CE marking attests the verification by a manufacturer that products meet EU safety requirements. It is the manufacturer’s responsibility to carry out the conformity assessment. Conformity assessment testing was performed by CCQS UK Ltd. www.ccqs.co.uk

This Atlas lift (structure and hydraulics) has been tested and has passed the CE conformity requirements. Atlas lifts sold in the USA and Canada use a different power unit than those required by CE. CE requires an electrical control box (with solenoids) that actuates the hydraulic power unit.

Electric power units supplied with above ground lifts in the USA and Canada do not require the electronic control box; therefore the power unit was not tested to CE approval requirements. If you have questions relating to the power unit supplied with your lift, please discuss these with your salesman.

If you are customer from the EU or other foreign county that requires CE approval, please contact our sales office to see how we can help.
