Atlas RJ-6000 Air Hydraulic Rolling Center Jack 6,000 lbs. Capacity
with Truck Adapters

The Atlas RJ-6000 (Air/Hydraulic) is a heavy duty rolling jack designed to lift and support 6,000 LB. The commercial grade RJ-6000 (Air/Hydraulic) rolling jack can be used to raise the front or rear portion of a vehicle; allowing the operator of a four post above ground lift to perform wheel and brake service. Most commercial shops buy two of these hydraulic rolling jacks, so that the entire vehicle can be supported in the air at the same time.

The Atlas RJ-6000 (Air/Hydraulic) has telescoping arms that can be extended over the runways of the four post lift. The lift pads at the end of these arms can be positioned under the LIFTING POINTS that are located over the runways of the four post lift. The Atlas RJ-6000 (Air/Hydraulic) rolling bridge is equipped with expandable supports which adjust to fit many different brands of four post above ground lifts. These supports have a unique roller system that allows the rolling hydraulic jack to glide easily under the entire length of the vehicle. The large heavy steel wheels allow the rolling jack to be positioned under the correct lifting points in a matter of seconds.

The Atlas RJ-6000 (Air/Hydraulic) comes standard with a set of peg style truck adapters which increases the lifting height of the lift pads. These truck adapters will allow the Atlas RJ-6000 rolling hydraulic jack to raise most pick up and larger trucks that will sit higher than the average passenger car.

The Atlas RJ-6000 (Air/Hydraulic) is equipped with an air/hydraulic pump. The air/hydraulic pump requires a supply of compressed air (air compressor) to work properly.

Important: The Atlas RJ-6000 is designed and engineered to operate on "delivered" air pressure of between 70-95 PSI. If you exceed 95 PSI, you may damage your jack. For more information on the recommended operating air pressure of the Atlas RJ-6000, see below Specifications.

The Atlas RJ-6000 (Air/Hydraulic) rolling hydraulic jack features two solid locking positions that are used when the vehicle is to be suspended above the runways. When the locking positions of the Atlas RJ-6000 (Air/Hydraulic) are engaged, the hydraulic pressure from the lifting cylinder of the jack is eliminated. (These locks act much like a pair of jack stands after you lift a vehicle off the ground with a service jack).

NOTE: ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BY THE MANUFACTURER TO BE VALID.

The Manufacturer shall repair or replace at their option for this period those parts returned to the factory freight prepaid, which prove after inspection to be defective. This warranty will not apply unless the product is installed, used and maintained in accordance with the Manufacturers installation, operation and maintenance instructions.

This warranty applies to the ORIGINAL purchaser only, and is non-transferable. The warranty covers the products to be free of defects in material and workmanship but, does not cover normal maintenance or adjustments, damage or malfunction caused by: improper handling, installation, abuse, misuse, negligence, carelessness of operation or normal wear and tear. In addition, this warranty does not cover equipment when repairs or alterations have been made or attempted to the Manufacturer's products.

Recommended Operation Air Pressure
The Atlas (air/hydraulic) RJ-6 rolling jack is designed and engineered to operate on "delivered" air pressure of between 70-95 PSI. If the delivered air pressure exceeds 95 PSI, then the rolling jack may be capable of lifting more than a weight of 6,000 lbs…HOWEVER, the metal structure and component parts of the Atlas rolling jack are rated to lift ONLY 6,000 lbs. Rolling jack metal structural damage may result from exceeding the rated capacity of 6,000 lbs.

IE: Our Atlas two post and four post lifts will actually lift and support more than their rated capacity. To prevent you (the curious customer) from trying to lift a vehicle (load) that exceeds the rated capacity of the lift, the power unit pumps (hydraulic pressure limit valve) are adjusted to deliver "only so much" hydraulic pressure. That "delivered hydraulic pressure" will allow your lift to raise only the rated capacity of the above ground lift. The power unit is electric/hydraulic. The power supply needed is normally 110V or 220V. Since the "electric power pressure" cannot be controlled..., the hydraulic pressure limit valve (which can be controlled) is set to deliver the correct amount of

An air/hydraulic power unit operates on compressed air. The "limit valve" on the air hydraulic power unit is really just the supplied air pressure (PSI). The PSI of the air supply must be regulated (for the Atlas RJ-6) to between 70 to 95 PSI. Supplied air pressure greater than 95 PSI may (inadvertently) cause damage to the rolling jack.

Example: Customer sets the air pressure at 95 PSI and the Atlas RJ-6 lifts the 6000 lbs. weight as advertised. However, the customer would like to increase the lifting speed of the rolling jack, so he decides to increase the air pressure to the air/hydraulic pump. (NEVER ADJUST AIR PRESSURE TO EXCEED 95 PSI as this could cause damage to the air/hydraulic power unit)

Yes, the rolling jack lifting points may go up a little faster (increased air pressure) and as long as the customer never tries to lift any object over 6,000 lbs. (assuming the weight is evenly distributed over the lifting surface), there will PROBABLY not be an issue. (air pressure not to exceed 95 PSI). However, what if the customer (accidently) tries to lift a vehicle (or part of a vehicle) that is OVER the 6,000 lbs. weight limit with the increased air pressure setting? The jack may lift the increased weight, BUT there is a possibility of damage to the rolling jack. Best advice is to keep the air pressure at the factory's recommended setting.
